TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa Police arrested two people on first-degree murder complaints and are looking for three others after a fatal shooting at a local motel Tuesday morning.

Police Sergeant Dave Walker says the arrests stemmed from their investigation into the city's latest homicide at the Super 8 Motel in the 3200 block of South 79th East Avenue.

Police arrested Warren Crittenden, 44, of Stroud, a former Tulsa County Sheriff's deputy and Pamela Taylor, 27, of Tulsa in connection with the death of a 32-year-old man.

Sgt. Walker said witnesses told detectives four men forced their way into the victim's room, demanded money from the victim and during a scuffle, shot the victim.

He says after reviewing motel surveillance video police determined the four men arrived at the motel in two vehicles, including a white Ford F-150 crew cab pickup. After the shooting, Sgt. Walker said the pickup truck was seen leaving the motel.

Several hours later, the pickup, driven by Crittenden was involved in a crash at 11th and Mingo. Sgt. Walker said Crittenden told officers he had information about the motel homicide and was taken in for questioning.

Sgt. Walker said Pamela Taylor told them she had met the victim at the Hard Rock Casino in Catoosa earlier in the day and accompanied him to the motel. In Taylor's police arrest report, she claimed the victim gave her $20, demanded sexual favors and when she refused he became violent, so she left and called her friends.

Police are still looking to identify the other three men. Anyone with information about the shooting are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.

The name of the victim has not been released. Sgt. Walker did say he is from out of state.
