TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa County deputies say a driver who led them on a chase then ran away left his ID in the vehicle.

Deputies said the chase started when they attempted to stop the teenager at 11th and Sheridan for a traffic violation at about 1:30 a.m. The chase ended in the 6900 block of East 20th Street when the driver jumped out of the Chevy Trailblazer and ran. The stolen SUV continued on hitting a street sign, hopping the curb and striking a house

Deputies said the teen left his student ID in the Trailblazer. 

Tulsa Police used their helicopter to help search for the driver but were unable to find him.

Deputies said no in the home was hurt.
