Head Of Stolen Dinosaur Returned To Bartlesville Pet Store

BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma - The head of a 9-foot fiberglass Tyrannosaurus Rex stolen from a Bartlesville pet store over the weekend was returned Thursday.

Kathy Keim, the owner of Classic Pets in Bartlesville, said the body of the dinosaur had been found and returned to the store on Wednesday.

A photo of the dinosaur's head was posted on Facebook Thursday.

The fiberglass statue was large but not heavy, Keim said, and was held down by cables.
