Guthrie Shooting: Police Say Both The Victim and The Shooter Called 911

Guthrie Police responded to two 911 calls of a person being shot, early Saturday morning.

Guthrie Police responded to two 911 calls of a person being shot, early Saturday morning.

The first caller said they were shot in the leg. The second caller came from the shooter, who claimed they were defending themselves after being attacked with a knife.

At approximately 3:13 a.m. police and paramedics arrived on scene at 1323 W. Washington Street.

One person suffering from a gunshot wound, was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The shooter, Justin James Wallage, 29, was arrested for assault and battery with a deadly weapon. 

Wallage is currently in custody at Logan County Jail.

The incident is still under investigation.
