BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -

The Broken Arrow Police Department said they are providing a safe place for people to conduct online transactions.

Thursday, BAPD said they are allowing the public parking lot and lobby area of the Public Safety Complex at 1101 North 6th Street to be used in an effort to minimize safety concerns.

They said the complex is well lit, has video surveillance and has officers there throughout the day.

BAPD said they can't guarantee complete safety, but said they hope the location will lessen any chance of fraud and provide a relatively safe place to meet.

They said the department will not settle any disputes that may occur.
