BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma - A former Broken Arrow football star was arrested for the second time in less than a year Friday night.

Broken Arrow Police confirmed Devon Thomas and two other people were arrested when police found the three in a car with marijuana and a loaded gun.

Thomas and the other two were arrested for possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a park. The driver of the car was also charged with possession of a firearm.

Thomas was arrested May of 2014 for armed robbery after the victim told police Thomas and three others robbed him of shoes, clothing, money and marijuana.

The victim also told police as he was leaving in his vehicle someone fired a gun at him, narrowly missing his head.

Thomas pleaded not guilty to the charges and is scheduled for court Monday.
