Oologah Students Helping Neighbors In Need

A group of Oologah high school students spent their Valentine's Day helping people in need. The teenagers are part of the school's leadership club and offered a complimentary day of service for anyone who needed it.

They helped Carolyn Estes clean and reorganize her kitchen.

Carolyn says she has a number of friends who benefit from this program as well - and that little things go a long way.

"It gives them a morning to visit with young people, and you gain a lot of enthusiasm about life when you're around young people and that comes through," she said.

Almost 30 students helped seniors in the area Saturday alone.
