Haskell voters approved a $30 million bond. The district plans to use the money to add a multi-purpose building to Mary White Elementary that would also double as a storm shelter during severe weather.

The High School would get a new fine arts building that would also be a FEMA certified safe room. Both would be open to the community during bad weather.

Some of the money would also go toward a new animal science building and new school buses.

In Henryetta, voters approved a $9.5 million bond.

School leaders want to start a science, technology, engineering and math program - or STEM.

The bond money would also be used to pay for repairs to existing buildings and build two new ones, including one that's also a storm shelter.

Okmulgee schools received a $6.5 million bond after voters said “yes” Tuesday.

The district said money will be used for several needs including new buses, security and technology upgrades and band equipment.

Grove school leaders will use the more than $15 million bond money on a performing arts center at the high school.

Not all districts saw their bonds pass at the polls.

Miami voters decided not to pass an almost $23 million bond for a restructuring plan.

School leaders wanted to build a new pre-k through second grade building, transform Nichols into an upper elementary, as well as renovate Will Rogers Middle School and the high school.

The district said it would try to sell off the old elementary buildings it would no longer use.
