A grand jury has indicted a man and woman for making a terrorist hoax and conspiring to make a terrorist hoax.

The indictment was returned on Wednesday, charging 19-year-old Israa Jafar Ali and her boyfriend, 23-year-old Sajjad Hussein Al Fehaidah.

According to court documents, the two are charged for allegedly making a 911 call to the Edmond Police Department claiming that a Saudi Arabian student at the University of Central Oklahoma would commit a suicide bombing at an unspecified Christian church near the UCO campus.

The indictment alleges that the purpose of the conspiracy was in retaliation against the Saudi Arabian student.

Ali is said to be the person who called in the threat, using Al Fehaidah's cell phone. Al Fehaidah is accused of providing Ali with information on the student by researching his Facebook account.

If convicted, both Ali and Al Fehaidah face up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine each for the conspiracy count and another five years and $250,000 on the terrorist hoax count.
