Tulsa Police are searching for a 17-year-old  male following a robbery and shooting Friday evening. Thomas Arellano is wanted for questioning after a 15 year old was critically wounded in east Tulsa.

He's suspected of attempting to rob two young males in the 13300 block of East 24th Street. Police say he was armed with a shotgun and shot one of his victims in the leg.

Sergeant David Walker said the 15-year-old victim and his 16-year-old friend were trying to buy marijuana when Arellano and two accomplices robbed them.

Arellano is considered a person of interest in the shooting, Walker said. The wounded boy was rushed for emergency surgery. He is said to be in critical condition.

Police searched for and captured the two other suspects in the robbery and shooting.

A 14-year-old male was also arrested in the incident. Police did not release his name but say he was arrested early Saturday, and they recovered a shotgun and several knives believed to be used in the attack.

Anyone with information about him is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
