A Tennessee man was killed on Interstate 40 in Sequoyah County on Saturday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Carl Pearson, 74, was driving a 1998 Nissan Pathfinder when he crashed just east of mile marker 309 a 7 a.m., a collision report says.
The investigating trooper said Pearson was eastbound when he departed to the right for an unknown reason, and the SUV overturned approximately two times before landing on its wheels.
Pearson was ejected through the driver's side window, according to the report.
The cause of the crash still is under investigation.
