The Oklahoma football team held its annual Pro Day on Wednesday for current and former players hoping to make it to the NFL.

27 players participated in the usual variety of speed and strength drills for scouts from nearly every NFL team. The highlight of the day was wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham speaking with members of the media for the first time since he transferred to Oklahoma.

Green-Beckham was very impressive during the interview, and we've attached highlights from our time with him to this story. Among the biggest notes was that he said Jay Norvell's firing didn't have anything to do with him heading to the NFL. Instead, the primary reason is that his girlfriend is pregnant and due in July.

He didn't participate in many of the drills, but did run routes and catch passes.

Here are some highlights from the day

-Offensive lineman Tony Feo pumped out an impressive 36 reps on the bench press (225 pounds). No other player broke the 30 rep mark.

-Safety Quentin Hayes ran a 4.32 in the 20-yard shuttle, narrowly eclipsing DGB's 4.34. Perhaps the most impressive time in this drill was defensive lineman Chuka Ndulue's 4.52 mark. Not bad for a 281-pounder.

-Geneo Grissom had a nice day as well, posting a 35-inch vertical leap and a 4.82 in the 40-yard dash.

-Most of the players who participated in the NFL Combine last month didn't participate in the generic drills, choosing instead to focus on the position-specific drills.
