Incredible video from a police officer's body camera was released Friday showing the dramatic rescue of a 19-month-old baby girl named Lily last week in Utah.

She spent 14 hours upside down in a car in the Spanish Fork River after a crash that killed her mother.

At 12:30 p.m. March 7, a Spanish Fork officer raced to the scene, reporter Chris Miller of CBS Salt Lake City affiliate KUTV reports.

The officer bolted from his patrol car and sprinted down the steep embankment to the side of the vehicle, where he's met by other officers working to get inside.

The men decide the only way in is to put the car onto its side. After rolling the car over, firefighters enter the vehicle and struggle to free Lily from her car seat in the back.

Once she's freed, she's passed along to an officer, who rushed her to a waiting ambulance.

Lily appeared motionless, but rescuers were convinced she was going to make it.

Paramedics suctioned Lily's nose while the officer performed CPR.

The ride to the local hospital took just a few minutes, where Lily was rushed inside.

From there, she was transported by helicopter to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City.

This week, it was announced that Lily is alert and healthy and safely in her father's arms, thanks to the heroic efforts of the brave men and women who responded.
