Vicky McIntyre has capped her illustrious senior season at Oral Roberts with one of the highest honors in college basketball being named Associated Press All-America released Tuesday by the organization.

McIntyre was tabbed to the AP All-America Honorable Mention Team after leading the nation in rebounds (15.8), blocks (5.7) and triple-doubles (2), while finishing second in double-doubles (27). Her 536 rebounds ranks second most ever in a single-season in NCAA history behind Courtney Paris' 539 during the 2005-06 season and set ORU and Summit League single-season records.

The Omaha native finished the year with 160 blocks to finish seventh on the NCAA single-season list while also setting ORU and Summit League records. She captured 14 consecutive double-doubles from Jan. 24-March 23, 2015 which ranks 13th most in NCAA history while her 27 during the season ranks 12th most.

She recorded the first triple-double at Oral Roberts since 1995 with 14 points, 16 rebounds and 10 blocks against Grand Canyon as she also set the ORU single-game record for blocks. She again broke the single-game blocks record with the first ever triple-double in the Summit League tournament with 20 points, 18 rebounds and 12 blocks against South Dakota State as she also set the Summit League single-game blocks record.

McIntyre set the ORU and Summit League single-game rebound record early in the season with 27 boards against Austin Peay at the Southern Mississippi Thanksgiving Tournament. She was honored by the NCAA as a National Player of the Week for her efforts and again honored during the week of February 11. She was named Summit League Player of the Week four times (Dec. 1, Jan. 12, Feb. 2 and Feb. 9) while also earning Summit League Athlete of the Month twice.

Prior to the Summit League Championships, she was named Summit League Defensive Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and earned All-League First Team honors. She helped ORU to an 18-16 record and a third place finish in the conference while also earning a bid in the Women's Basketball Invitational. The Golden Eagles advanced to the WBI Semifinals before falling to eventual champion, Louisiana, 65-64.

McIntyre joins Kevi Luper (2012-13), Krista Ragan (2001-02), Kisa Bradley (1995-96) and Vivian Herron (1985-86) as previous All-Americans at ORU.
