TULSA, Oklahoma -

A Tulsa man was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being hit by a truck.

Tulsa Police said just before 7:00 Tuesday evening they responded to the 7700 block of South 92nd East Place and learned a man had been hit by a truck.

They said the truck was headed west on 77th Street and attempted to make a left turn onto 92nd East Place.

According to police, that is when the pickup struck a man in his 60s. They said he was walking east on 77th Street.

The driver told police he never saw the man walking.

Police said the man was transported, unconscious and in critical condition to a Tulsa hospital.

Police are still investigating and said there is no indication as to who might be at fault.
