A jury returned a guilty verdict for the man charged with a 2006 double murder.

A jury said Hilliard Fulgham, 46, is guilty of two counts of first-degree murder in the 2006 cold case.

The jury recommended life without parole on both counts.

Formal sentencing will be 2:00 Monday April 13.

Investigators said Dorothy Lindley and Linda Wright were found stabbed to death in an apartment in the 2500 block of East 51st Street in January 2006. An investigation led to charges against Fulgham.

Fulgham was extradited to Oklahoma in 2012 after serving time in a Mississippi prison for burglary.

Jurors began deliberating on Friday afternoon.

A Louisiana woman, Jacqueline Smith, has been charged with two counts of accessory to murder in connection to the case. She still is awaiting trial.
