Playing for the first time at First Tennessee Park in Nashville, the Oklahoma City Dodgers used a four-run rally in the sixth inning to lead the way to a 6-2 win over the Nashville Sounds in the teams' series opener Tuesday night.

The Dodgers (10-3) have captured wins in four of their first five games of their current road trip and became the first team in the Pacific Coast League to 10 wins this season. Also by winning Tuesday night, the Dodgers avoided losing consecutive games for the first time this season.

The Sounds quickly took the lead in the bottom of the first inning, when Joey Wendle hit a solo home run, marking the first homer ever hit at First Tennessee Park.

It didn't take much longer for the second homer in the stadium's brief history to occur. The Dodgers got even in the third when Scott Schebler hit an opposite field shot out to left field for his second homer of the season and make it 1-1.

The tie didn't last long, as Nashville regained the lead in the bottom of the inning. With none on and two out, Wendle singled and later advanced to second base on passed ball. Max Muncy then delivered a RBI single to give the Sounds lead.

The Dodgers remained down 2-1 until putting a four-run rally together in the sixth inning. Darwin Barney knotted the score with a RBI single, and Buck Britton gave OKC its first lead with a sacrifice fly.

Later in the inning with two runners on and two out, Kiké Hernandez hit a double off the left field fence to score the pair and make it a 5-2 game.

Hernandez struck again with two outs in the eighth, lining a RBI single to left field to push the team's advantage to 6-2.

The Sounds had several chances throughout the night to push more runs across, but the Dodgers pitching staff did not fold when the pressure was on. Nashville was held just 1-for-11 with runners in scoring position, and the Sounds stranded 10 runners on base, including five in scoring position.

Dodgers starting pitcher Carlos Frias picked up his second win of the season with 5.1 solid innings of work. Frias (2-0) allowed two runs (one earned) and seven hits with seven strikeouts and no walks. Through his first three outings of the season, Frias has recorded 15 strikeouts with no walks over 12.2 innings.

The bullpen trio of Ryan Buchter, Sergio Santos, and David Aardsma combined to hold Nashville scoreless over the final 3.2 innings. The quartet of Dodgers hurlers combined for 12 strikeouts.

Nashville starting pitcher Angel Castro breezed through his first five innings, retiring 15 of 17 batters. However, Castro ran into trouble in the sixth, and left the game after allowing three straight hits to start the inning. Castro (0-1) ended up being charged with four runs and five hits over five-plus innings. He struck out two and did not walk a batter, as Castro dropped to 0-5 in his career against Oklahoma City teams.
