Police release dash cam video from a motorcycle chase that came to a crashing stop, Saturday.

Officers say they began pursuing Michael Coppedge after they caught him speeding near 8th and Iowa, and it only accelerated from there.

The motorcycle weaved through several neighborhoods going around 100 miles per hour.

"His back tire was blowed [sic] out, but he was still going as fast as he could, he coulda [sic] hurt someone," said Larry Cain. "It's never boring on this block."

Cain lives nears 7th and Virginia and said he witnessed his neighbor stop the suspect in the middle of the pursuit.

"He clothes lined the guy and I guess when he did that, he slid and hit the front of my truck."

Chickasha Police were shocked by the neighbor's bold move.

"It was pretty brave to do that. He was taking his life in his hands," said Lt. Scott Weaver.

Weaver said he does not recommend anyone do that to try and stop a suspect, but it did help them catch Coppedge.

After a short pursuit Coppedge was taken into custody. He allegedly ran from police because he didn't have a license or insurance.

Coppedge was booked in Grady County Jail on several complaints including reckless driving and eluding an officer. He's currently out on bond.
