Corvette Totaled In High-Speed Crash In East Tulsa
TULSA, Oklahoma - Police say a man is in the hospital after he crashed a Corvette in east Tulsa overnight.
Officers said the crash happened on Pine east of 129th East Avenue just after 1:30 a.m.
EMSA took the driver to the hospital with a broken leg and police arrested the passenger on outstanding warrants. Police said the passenger owned he car.
Police said the Corvette crashed through a fence and hit several trees.
Before the crash, an officer saw the Corvette traveling over 100 mph on Highway 169, but quickly lost sight of it. A short time later, police got a call about the crash and found the wreck.
Officers told News On 6 they are not sure if alcohol was involved.
Police have not released the names of the driver or the passenger.
