An earthquake was recorded near Mooreland, Okla. Thursday night.
The 3.3 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 8:06 p.m.
Its epicenter was located about 11 miles east northeast of Mooreland, 21 miles east northeast of Woodward, and 63 miles west of Enid at about five miles deep.
No injuries or damages have been reported at this time.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes 4.0 and higher.
