Police Rescue Man Threatening To Jump Off Tulsa Bridge

Police rescued a man who threatened to jump off a bridge along Interstate 244 in downtown Tulsa Tuesday afternoon.

An officer on the ground distracted the man while another officer pulled him off the ledge.

Police said the man was upset because his girlfriend filed a protective order against him.

We've decided not to release his name because he was taken in for a mental health evaluation.
