Three Women Robbed Getting Together With Man They Met Online

Oklahoma City police are looking for a man who robbed three women at gunpoint at a Northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex.

The women say they met him on the popular social media site meetme.com.

Oklahoma City Police say these women did the right thing by not showing up all alone, but contend it is always a risk to agree to meet someone you only just met through the internet.

Nikkii Wagner says she and her friends agreed to meet their internet friend at the Ashford Northwest Apartment homes near NW 122nd and Pennsylvania last Saturday night. She says that “friend” went by the name “Allen”, and got inside her car - pretending to help them find them a place to park. They say that's when his friends surrounded the car and robbed them.

“As soon as he got in the car and closed the door about five other guys came up around the back side of my car with guns and tasers,” said Wagner.

They managed to save the picture he had on his meetme.com profile and gave it to police, who have posted it on their Facebook page, hoping it will encourage someone to come forward.

Wagner says she had met “Allen” once before and didn't think he posed a threat. So she and her friends were shocked when he and his friends grabbed their purses and ran. Now all she wants is for them to be caught.

“It's still to the point I don't sleep at night,” said Wagner. “Because all I see is the gun. It's pretty scary. It's terrifying.”
