An earthquake shook up residents near Luther, Okla., in Oklahoma County, Thursday afternoon.
The 3.2 magnitude quake struck at approximately 1:39 p.m.
Its epicenter was located six miles west Luther, nine miles east of Edmond, and 17 miles northeast of Oklahoma City at about two miles deep.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes 4.0 and higher.
