Tuesday's storms are creating problems in many areas across the state.

In McClain and Grady Counties people are on alert. In Chickasha, at one point, the streets were so flooded someone was rolling around in a jet ski. All that water quickly drained away, but for a while getting around was a little tricky.

The rain may be pelting down, but on some streets, geysers were spewing up.

"It started about 10 minutes ago coming up out of the manhole,” Kevin Anderson said.

Adamson has lived in the same home in Chickasha for about 12 years.

"When we get these real heavy quick downpours, it'll do it every time,” he said.

And every time there's a good downpour…

"I bring out my safety cone. I put it in the middle of street,” he said. “So people can see there's a hole in the ground, and they can go around it."

But a county over in Purcell, there was no way getting around this backup. The bridge to Lexington closed down for a bit from an accident - blamed on the rain.

"I guess the heavy rains came, and two cars collided,” an officer said. “One was pulling that trailer over there and it jackknifed it. So it shut the whole bridge down."

Moments earlier Bob Mills Sky News 9 captured tornados touch down which left a lot of folks stuck in line pretty anxious.

“I'm seeing if my trailer is still there. It went right over my house,” a Lexington resident said. "We just want to know if our house is still there. It's all we got."

Either way, held up or spewed up, it's all just.....

"Part of nature,” Adamson said.

There were no reports of any injuries.
