Trey Cobb pitched five hitless innings out of the Oklahoma State bullpen as the Cowboys cruised to a 3-0 win over West Virginia in the Big 12 Baseball Tournament.

Cobb relieved Conner Costello, who started the game for OSU and pitched four shutout innings.

The Cowboys got the scoring started in the third inning when Donnie Walton singled home Corey Hassel and OSU took a 1-0 lead. Dustin Williams opened the fourth with a solo shot to give the Pokes a 2-0 lead.

Walton added some insurance in the eighth with a solo homer to put the final nail in WVU's coffin.

This was the first ever shutout victory in a Big 12 Tourney game ever for OSU. The Cowboys will play Kansas State on Thursday.
