Overnight rains sent flood waters across many streets and highway in the Tulsa area.
Water under a bridge on Highway 75 at 141st Street South was seen flowing onto the highway early Sunday.
The City of Tulsa has declared a flash flood emergency, the first time they've ever issued this type of alert.
Across the city, a number of streets experienced street flooding, stranding a number of vehicles. One location was 11th and Maplewood where a Ford Mustang stalled out in high water. Another flooding location was on South Sheridan where several cars were abandoned because of high water.
The Tulsa Fire Department says between 9 and 11 p.m. firefighters responded to over 55 calls to help with high water rescues.
