Oklahoma Agency Offers Free Water Well Bacterial Testing

The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality is offering free bacterial testing of private well water due to statewide flooding.

The agency announced Tuesday that the testing will be available until August 15.

Residents can test their wells by calling 1-800-522-0206. If properties were affected by the recent disasters, DEQ recommends that residents disinfect their wells.
