Police found a stabbing victim covered in flour outside a Tulsa home early Wednesday.

Officers were called to the home in the 3200 block of Admiral Court near Harvard just after 3 a.m. They said the 40-year-old victim had been stabbed multiple times. In an attempt to stop the bleeding, police said the sister poured flour into his stab wounds.

Officers said the victim told them he was stabbed from behind near 6th and Lewis and nothing more. EMSA cleaned off the flour and took the man to the hospital with what police said were non-life threatening wounds.

Police continue to investigate.
