An Edmond homeowner needs help in solving a mystery.

Michael Laasch, 28, moved into a home on Meadow Lake Drive several months ago. After moving in, he said he found a large folder in a far corner shelf in a bedroom closet. Inside the folder were dozens of photos and military documents about a man by the name of Gregg Allan Anderson.

Laasch said he's done numerous internet searches to find Anderson, but all he could find out is Anderson owned Laasch's new home from 2004 until 2008.

Laasch said the military documents show Gregg Allan Anderson is a graduate of Wesley College in Dover, Delaware, who enlisted in the Navy in the late 1960's, and rose to the rank of Lieutenant. Anderson was also a Navy chaplain.

Laasch himself was in the Air Force ROTC at Edmond North High School, and during his days attending Oklahoma State. He said he feels like he owes it to Anderson to get it back to him. “This could be his holy grail. It very well might be. Who knows how long he's been looking for this stuff. That's all I want to do is get it back. Military guy to military guy. Friend to friend, man to man. That's all I want to do is return these memories to him.”

Around 9 p.m. Saturday, Gregg Anderson called News 9. He said he appreciates the fact that his personal documents have been found and looks forward to getting them back.
