Sex Offender Living Near Tahlequah High School Arrested

Tahlequah police officers said they arrested a registered sex offender who was living within 2,000 feet of Tahlequah High School.

Police said an officer responded to a domestic disturbance in the area and found Christopher Randolph intoxicated.

Officers said Randolph's girlfriend, Judith Parrish, told them they were arguing and she was afraid he would hurt her.

The officer discovered Randolph is a registered sex offender, and he lived too close to a school.

Tahlequah's police department said a little extra effort on the part of the officer helped make the community a little safer.
