An Oklahoma teacher pleaded guilty to child sex crimes but believes she didn't do anything wrong. Now the victim's parents filed a federal lawsuit saying the Hollis Public Schools tried to cover up the crime.

Jennifer Caswell is a former teacher at Hollis Middle School. She recently sat down with Dr. Phil defending her actions. Meanwhile, the boy's father sat down with attorneys and say the school knew about Caswell's actions and did nothing about it.

“It's here forever, and I'm going to pay for it forever,” former Hollis teacher Jennifer Caswell said.

And so will the boy Caswell was supposed to be teaching in her middle school English class. The boy's family filed a lawsuit and said the result of Caswell's "sexual abuse, sodomy and rape has left the boy withdrawn and quiet." His "grades have dropped and “in depth psychological examinations will need to be done to assess long term damage.” Yet, despite multiple sexual encounters with the eighth grade boy throughout a tearful interview with Dr. Phil, Caswell somehow believes she did nothing wrong.

“I'm not a sex offender,” she said. “I'm not a threat or a danger to anyone.”

The boy's father begs to differ. Incident after incident is cited in a 16-page filing. One describes a sexual assault that happened inside Caswell's classroom as she “began to describe her sex life to the boy” and “moved the boy to her desk in the classroom and began to perform oral sex on him.” Shortly after, she "demanded the boy have vaginal intercourse with her in the classroom." Documents also state there were witnesses who saw what happened through the classroom window.

“I didn't do anything wrong,” Caswell said. “I'm not a rapist.”

The lawsuit claims the school district attempted to cover up what was happening stating the “district and its officials had actual knowledge of the rape and the resulting harassment of the boy” by Caswell and failed “to report the rape to the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and/or law enforcement officials.”

“It's horrible, because that's my life,” Caswell said. “I'm going to be a sex offender forever.”

Caswell was allowed to resign from Hollis Public Schools without turning over her teaching credentials, and the lawsuit claims her actions weren't reported. The family is seeking one million dollars.
