The Indian Nations Council, Boy Scouts of America and the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office joined forces to provide a summer camp adventure for at-risk youth.

About 40 teenagers from Tulsa County are taking part in the four-day camping expedition.

The teens will learn leadership skills, team-building activities and positive interactions with law enforcement.

"The fact that young people are our future, and if we can impact them now, if we can mentor them, train them and teach them now we can help steer them on the right path later on as they grow up in their lives," said Tulsa County Sheriff's Deputy, Justin Green.

This is the sixth year for the Sheriff's Boy Scout Camp.
