3.0 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Near Tonkawa

A 3.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Tonkawa, Oklahoma, Thursday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 5:49 a.m. Its epicenter was located 12 miles south, southeast of Tonkawa, 16 miles south, southwest of Ponca City.

It was about two miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
