3.1 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Near Tonkawa

A 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Tonkawa, Oklahoma, Tuesday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 10:35 a.m. Its epicenter was located 11 miles south of Tonkawa, and 17 miles southwest of Ponca City.

It was about two miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
