Dez Bryant won't give in. The former Oklahoma State star missed the Dallas Cowboys' three-day minicamp opener on Tuesday.

In an interview with Sirius XM Radio, Bryant's agent Tom Condon stated that Dallas has not increased their contract offer to his client. He went on to say that the only contract offer that Bryant received is the same one he was offered prior to the last year of his rookie contract.

“Since then we've had conversations, but nothing with regards to any negotiations,” said Condon. “His average per year in salary is probably 20 percent of what he would get on the open market. He understands the significance of this and what this means to the rest of his life. He's resolute in his determination."

Condon stated that the contract negotiations between Bryant and the Cowboys are currently at a standstill.

Honestly, Bryant not showing up isn't a surprise to many. He still hasn't signed his 12.823 million franchise tag. He's very serious about his stance and told NFL Network that the possibility of him missing regular season games is “legit.”

Cowboys' head coach Jason Garrett doesn't seem to be worried about Bryant missing games. “We're not really focused on that. Dez is getting ready to come to work,” Garrett told Dallas Morning News. “He's going to work hard every day whether he's in the building or outside the building.”

The two sides have until July 15 to reach a long-term deal. By missing a regular season game, Bryant could cost himself roughly over $753,000.

“Dez loves football. He's got a great passion for the game. He's got a great passion for our team,” explained Garrett. “He'll take care of his business. We'll take care of our business, and hopefully all that stuff will be worked out sooner rather than later."

If Bryant hasn't received a new offer since the wrap of his rookie contract then it's easy to see why he feels the need to take more extreme measures in order to get the process of a new deal underway. With that being said, if things remain dormant, let's see how much money Bryant is willing to leave on the table when September rolls around.
