Scott Schebler hit an opposite field home run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Oklahoma City Dodgers a 6-5 walk-off win against the Memphis Redbirds Thursday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The Dodgers (44-22) overcame a 5-0 deficit, scoring six unanswered runs to open a four-game home series against Memphis in front of a crowd of 5,462.

Hector Olivera and Corey Seager both flied out on the first pitches they saw for the first two outs of the bottom of the ninth inning for Oklahoma City. Schebler followed and hit the first pitch he faced onto the Budweiser Deck in left field for his ninth home run of the season.

The walk-off home run was the first of the season for the Dodgers, and their sixth walk-off win of 2015.

Schebler finished the game 3-for-4 and drove in three runs, tying season highs for both hits and RBI.

League-leading Oklahoma City improved to a season-best 22 games above .500 and has won nine of the last 10 games. The Dodgers also now have wins in five straight home games.

Thursday opened a four-game series against the Redbirds (36-32) who built a five-run lead in the game, scoring all of their runs in the third inning on six hits.

Dean Anna hit a one-out RBI single, and after a Stephen Piscotty double, Dan Johnson hit a two-run single. A sac fly by Jacob Wilson and a RBI triple by Ty Kelly later in the inning put Memphis in front, 5-0.

Oklahoma City center fielder Darnell Sweeney doubled to lead off the bottom of the third inning on a fly ball to center and later scored on a sacrifice fly by Schebler to cut the Redbirds' lead to 5-1.

The Dodgers put together a three-run sixth inning. A RBI double by Darwin Barney and a two-run single from Sweeney with two outs cut the Memphis lead to 5-4.

Cory Seager doubled, then scored on a single by Schebler with none out in the seventh inning to tie the game, 5-5.

Dodgers starting pitcher Joe Wieland allowed five runs and seven hits over five innings and struck out four. Joel Peralta, on a MLB rehab assignment, pitched one inning and did not allow a run or hit.

Ramon Troncoso pitched two scoreless frames before Chin-Hui Tsao (2-0) retired all three batters he faced in the top of the ninth to earn his second win of the season.

Reliever Tyler Waldron (2-4) was charged with the loss for the Redbirds.

The Dodgers continue their series against Memphis at 7:05 p.m. Friday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
