Several creeks and streams are finally receding after two days of tropical rainfall. Along Polecat Creek in Sapulpa, the water rise more than 8 feet above flood stage.

The flooding is causing some damage near the Creek Turnpike. Meteorologists at the National Weather Service Office in Tulsa are monitoring the flooding caused by Tropical Depression Bill.

Clary Fields Golf Club should be open right now, but parts of the course are under water.

Rosie Walker manages club, and she's never seen flooding like it in the five years she's worked there.

"It's heartbreaking to see it like this,” Walker said. “Hopefully it will go off as quick as it came on just like the last time."

The course backs up to Polecat Creek.

The creek topped out at 8.5 feet above flood stage.

Cart paths are underwater, so nobody will be teeing off anytime soon.

“Some of [the bodies of water] are finally starting to go down, but we still have several that are starting to go up and we're watching how the water is flowing through those creeks and streams and rivers,"

McGavock said the water on Polecat Creek already is going down.

“Polecat Creek went up and it crested overnight or early this morning it was right around major flood stage, so there may have been some homes that had at least water in their yards," she said.

At the golf course, Walker hopes the water goes down fast, especially since we're going into one of the busiest weekend's for golf of the year.

“It's really disappointing, our biggest weekend, one of our biggest weekends of the year, Fathers Day, with the Open going on, everyone wants to get out and play," she said.

Walker said one good thing is the course drains very well.

But how quickly the water will be gone is anyone's guess.

Walker said golfers should call ahead to check tee times and the course conditions.
