ODOT is working to re-open Northbound I-35 just south of US 77 and Turner Falls in Murray County by Monday.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, early in the morning Thursday, crews shut down the northbound lanes of I-35 due a large rockslide from the Arbuckle Mountains.

ODOT said they've started constructing a crossover that will move northbound traffic onto the southbound lanes fro one lane in each direction for about half a mile.

At this time, traffic is one lane in each direction and the speed limit is reduced to 50 mph.

Drivers that wish to avoid the area can use US 81 or US 69 to the east of the state.
