Panera Bread is partnering with the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma to help feed families in need.

On Tuesday morning, volunteers served breakfast to folks at the Pioneer Plaza Senior Apartments.

For lunch, the mobile eatery headed over to Apache Manor.

It's the first time Panera has donated and distributed meals like this.

"It's nice that their truck comes here and feed those that the less fortunate," said Bridgette Wilks, resident.

Erin Barnhart, Community Relations Manager for Panera Bread, said the company gets as much out of it as the recipients do. "I think, as a business, we feel so fortunate that the community has supported our business so well, that it's our responsibility to support our community in return," Barnhart said.

Panera is also giving you a chance to help feed the hungry, too

All this week you can take a "Kids In Knead" flyer into a Tulsa-area Panera or show it on your phone.
