Cheerleaders Critical After Wreck On Way Home From Edmond Parade

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says it was a single-vehicle wreck, and the Southeast High School students were traveling home after marching in the Edmond Fourth of July parade.

An SUV carrying cheerleaders from Southeast High School rolled over on Interstate 35 Saturday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says it was a single-vehicle wreck, and the group was traveling home after marching in the Edmond Fourth of July parade.

According to OHP Capt. Paul Timmons, three teens and two adults were in the vehicle and two teens were ejected, one is in critical condition at an OKC area hospital. One adult is in serious condition and the other was treated and released.

Two lanes are closed -- I-35 North at the southbound highway offramp and westbound on the Kilpatrick Turnpike.
