Man In Critical Condition After Being Shot In Tulsa

A man is in critical condition after suffering gunshot wounds to the head, shoulder and torso, Tulsa police reported Sunday night.

A man, 28, was driving when someone pulled up beside his vehicle and started shooting, the man told police.

The gunshot victim drove to the 400 block of E Latimer Court where a friend drove him to a nearby hospital, Tulsa police Sgt. Jacob Johnston said.

The victim was taken into surgery and is in critical condition, Johnston said.

Johnston said multiple fireworks were going off in the area that people may not realize they heard gunshots.

No suspect description or other information was provided Sunday night.
