A power outage affected at least 1,100 customers in downtown Tulsa Tuesday morning.

PSO says the outage covered several blocks on the west side of downtown. The Tulsa Fire Department believes a lightning strike on a utility pole at 12th and Guthrie caused the outage.

In Mayes County, PSO said about 1,800 customers were without service early Tuesday. Power has since been restored. PSO has not released the cause of that outage.
