3.1 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Near Edmond

A 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Edmond, Oklahoma, Tuesday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 5:53 a.m. Its epicenter was located nine miles northeast of Edmond, and nine miles south, southeast of Guthrie.

It was about three miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
