TULSA, Oklahoma -

Police say a verbal argument between father and son in east Tulsa escalated late Wednesday with both men suffering numerous cuts during a beer bottle fight.

Officers said the pair had been drinking beer when they broke their bottles and attacked each other outside Sierra Pointe Apartments in the 1400 block of South 107th East Avenue.

Police were called to the complex just east of Highway 169 just before midnight.

They said the father suffered cuts to his face, shoulder and neck and the son had cuts on his arms. EMSA took the father to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The son was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Tulsa Police said both men declined to press charges.
