Downtown Tulsa Apartment Damaged In Fire

Investigators are trying to determine what sparked a kitchen fire in a downtown Tulsa apartment early Thursday.

Shortly after midnight, the Tulsa Fire Department was called to the apartment in the 1400 block of East 2nd Street near Peoria.

Firefighters arrived to find smoke and flames inside the kitchen area.  They were able to put the fire out quickly.  

Fire officials say no one in the apartment was injured in the fire.
