3.8 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Near Helena

A 3.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Helena, Oklahoma, Friday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 7:30 a.m. Its epicenter was located nine miles west, southwest of Helena, and 31 miles west, northwest of Enid.

It was about two miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
