Westbound traffic on the Broken Arrow Expressway came to a halt Tuesday morning after a multiple-vehicle crash between Garnett Road and Highway 169.
Tulsa Police said a crash between a car and a pickup started a chain reaction involving five other vehicles on the rain-soaked highway.
Westbound traffic around the crash scene slowed to a crawl as Tulsa Police and Fire worked to clear the vehicles from the highway. Police said several drivers were injured, but none seriously.
Officers told News On 6, drivers were traveling too fast and too close together for the conditions, leading to the chain reaction crash.
