Oklahoma City started its series with Omaha Monday night on a positive note, but things went sour quickly on Tuesday, as the Storm Chasers swept a doubleheader from the Dodgers.

The Dodgers couldn’t close the door on Omaha in the first game, as the Storm Chasers scored two runs in the final two innings to squeak by OKC, 5-4.

A two-run homer from O’Koyea Dickson in the top of the sixth inning gave the Dodgers a 4-3 lead, Oklahoma City’s first of the game after Omaha grabbed a 3-0 lead after two innings.

But Omaha rallied for a run in the bottom of the sixth on a bases-loaded single. It could have been more, but Brett Eibner was thrown out at home to end the inning.

OKC failed to regain the lead in the top of the seventh, setting the stage for the Storm Chasers to come up with the walk-off win.

Josh Ravin, who came on in the sixth inning for OKC, didn’t record an out in the final frame, giving up two singles and a walk before Micah Gibbs came through with the game-winning single.

Ravin took the loss for OKC, while Michael Mariot worked a perfect seventh for Omaha to pick up the win.

In the second game, the Dodgers scored four runs in the first inning, two of those coming on another homer for Dickson. But that would be the only offense the Dodgers generated in the nightcap.

Omaha responded with three runs in the bottom of the frame and the added five more in the second inning. That would be more than enough for the Storm Chasers to take the win.

Omaha had 14 hits in the second game, but just one of those went for extra bases—a solo homer from Gibbs in the second inning.

The two teams are in action again at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday.
