TULSA, Oklahoma -

A Mercedes that had been taken for a joy ride earlier this week was removed from a midtown Tulsa koi pond Friday. Police say a 15-year-old boy crashed his parents' SUV into a yard at 24th and Peoria around 2 a.m. while reportedly running from police after failing to stop for a red light.

The expensive G-Class SUV missed a Tulsa home but caused considerable damage to the landscaping. A crane was used to pull the SUV from the pond.

We're told the teen is going to help homeowners clean up the damage to their property. He wasn't hurt during the wreck, according to police.
