Service Restored After Midtown Tulsa Water Main Break

Water service has been restored for 23 businesses along Cherry Street in midtown Tulsa after a line break early Tuesday. 

City Of Tulsa water department workers shut down water to the businesses after a six-inch water main broke at about 1:45 a.m.  

Even though the break is fixed, workers say one eastbound lane between Troost and Trenton will remain closed until they can fill in the hole in the street.

They expect to have the lane reopened by mid morning.
